From artists and doctors to DJs and architects, corporate executives to executive chefs, and everything in between, my portrait sessions cater to a diverse range of individuals. Whether you're celebrating a significant milestone with senior photos, engagements, or weddings, I ensure each session reflects your unique story.
Our sessions are shot at various locations using natural light to authentically capture the essence of our subjects. I prioritize making you feel at ease throughout the entire process, resulting in genuine, memorable portraits that truly represent you.
“When you photograph a face… you photograph the soul behind it.”
– JEAN-LUC GODARD
As a documentary photographer, I immerse myself in each scenario, capturing every situation with the vision of a storyteller. By examining each moment with a 360-degree perspective, my goal is to convey the big picture of the story while paying close attention to the details of space and emotion.
From political rallies to nightlife, I aim to share these experiences through the unique view of my lens, bringing each story to life with authenticity and depth. It is my greatest passion to capture life in real time and then share it with the participants. Each moment is precious, serving as a marker in time that becomes part of our history.
“The camera makes you forget you’re there. It’s not like you are hiding but you forget, you are just looking so much.”
– ANNIE LEIBOVITZ
I have been a participant in nightlife activities since I was a teenager. Nightlife and social outings are not only a way to let loose and expend energy, but they also serve as communal gatherings in like-minded, safe spaces. Dancing with friends in various settings is one of my favorite activities.
The joy of immersing myself in these vibrant spaces while also documenting the happiness around me is one of the things that brings me the most joy in life. I love sharing these moments in time with others, offering an opportunity to live in the moment and to relive the experiences over and over again.
"I photograph all the time - it's a way of being alive and being connected."
- HARRY GRUYAERT
I am a multifaceted artist with a deep love for photography, my first passion. However, I also enjoy engaging the other side of my brain to explore different creative muscles. Mixed media collage and abstract expressionism offer me an experience that contrasts with my work as a portrait and documentary photographer.
In my abstract and mixed media work, I operate based on emotion and intention, without a specific plan of action. Free-flowing creativity is where my images form, guided only by the size of the work I feel like creating and the choice of two or three colors. I utilize various techniques to achieve different textural results, adding depth and dimension to my pieces.
Working abstractly not only allows me to express myself freely but also serves as a way to calm my busy mind, providing a therapeutic outlet that has become essential in my artistic practice.
"I am not an abstractionist...I am not interested in the relationships of color or form or anything else… .I’m interested only in expressing basic human emotions – tragedy, ecstasy, doom and so on."
— MARK ROTHKO
The unique world of AI has intrigued me. Initially, I was uncertain about this new technology, but with over 30 years of experience working in various mediums, I now see it as another tool to enhance my creative output. As a visual artist, particularly an abstract expressionist, I have always created forms from my mind that do not exist in the real world.
Incorporating AI allows me to expand on ideas and create an alternate, colorful reality, providing more room to express myself in another form. Using AI in my art has opened up new dimensions for my creativity, blending technology with imagination to push the boundaries of artistic expression.
I offer private and group abstract drawing art sessions for both youth and adults. These sessions are a creative way to evoke emotion and produce unique artworks. During our two-hour session, I will provide the same materials that I use for my own artworks. I will demonstrate how to use the materials and then guide you to create whatever comes to mind.
My classes focus on freeing yourself from the constraints of making art. There are no rules about what you create; you are encouraged to play and have fun. At the end of our session, we will discuss what we learned and talk about the art we created together.
